Drum Set, Sax, Guitar, Cello
Hello Members, Parents & Students,

Here's the latest on our upcoming Spring Music Festival 2016. Reminder, the deadline to participate in this year's Festival is 2/1/16.

Our Website
This website, is desktop, tablet and mobile friendly. We hope you like it. The applications and Standards Music Lists are located on the instrument pages, as PDF files, that can be downloaded, printed and then submitted/mailed.

Music Stands
A music stand will be provided for each ballroom. This will be made possibly by one of our sponsors. Students do not have to bring a music stand with them to the Festival.

Awards Ceremony | Sunday @ 3:00 pm
No more tickets will be required for entry at the Sunday Awards Ceremony. It's free for all.

Program Book
We'll have a new and enhanced Program Book, that will offer insight for students, parents, attendees, members/schools, judges and adjudicators as to just how enormous and great our Spring Music Festival is. If you're considering placing an Ad in our Program Book, please note the deadline is also 2/1/16. Information and pricing is located on the Home page of mamtg.org.

My Member Account
For all current and prospective members/schools, this is a new website page, within our website, that will serve as a landing page for questions and/or procedures as we approach the Festival deadline. Members can email a question or topic for posting, we'll add it, as other members may have the same question.

Our New Blog
This Blog, members are welcome to submit a blog on anything MAMTG related. Email your blog to me, Brandon. You'll want to link your blog to your website and/or social media, so please include that info.

Our Social Media
Enhancements were made to our FaceBook page and we now have a Twitter and Instagram account, both @ njmusicfest. It's encouraged for members, schools, students, parents and music enthusiasts to like, follow and share MAMTG. It's helps tremendously with exposure and growing MAMTG's Spring Music Festival, which allows additional music students opportunities to perform and showcase their musical talents. The larger we become, the more Festivals we can have. How cool would that be!

Festival 2016 Posters
On the "Our Members" page, within mamtg.org, there are several posters available for download and printing. You don't have to print them, simply download, save and email to others to promote our Spring Music Festival.

Ensembles ShowCase
New for 2016! Our Battle of the Bands is gone, but this does not mean Rock Bands cannot perform. Our new Ensembles ShowCase features group performances - Rock Bands, Chamber Groups, Choirs or Vocal Groups, String Quartets, Singer/Songwriters in a duo or trio, Jazz Bands, Trios or Quartets, Percussion Ensembles, etc... This will be a great new addition to the Festival and allow for more group performances overall.

In The Works for Festival 2016
I'm still working diligently on getting proper pa systems, several of them, and hopefully some stage lighting, and some professional grade wireless handheld lav microphones for our vocal, musical theatre and ensembles category events.

Our Spring Music Festival is fast approaching and the deadline to sign-up with MAMTG is 2/1/16. Which means, time is running out. Please let me know if there are any questions or if we can help. We look forward to seeing you in April 2016 at the Hanover Marriott!
